Between people breaking my heart, people intentionally harming themselves, people acting like children, and people leaving, I've decided that I'm done with this. I'm done with DevART, I'm done with the Duct Tape Players, I'm done with my friends, I'm done with all of it.

I just lost someone I cared for, very deeply so, enough so that I would have broken my rules if I thought I stood a chance to do good by her. But she chose a scumbag and his two friends, who even now have begun manipulating, bullying, and running ramshod over her.

Over the past three years, I've lost a brother of blood, rid myself of a sister I never wanted to lose, gained and lost a partner in life, gained a progeny, ignored two very sweet girls, and destroyed a whole era of work.

During those events, my heart broke. Little by little. I've not had much intact heart left for a while. Just recently, someone I thought I could trust showed me just how selfish humanity is.

Oddly, I don't find myself hurt anymore, I find myself solidified, resolute in my new task. The garbage in my life must go, and that means leaving here. I've sent off a few notes to people, as a sort of farewell, and those will be my final contact with those people. I'm ready to move on and grow as a person, and things like this are holding me back.
